MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education.
MDA combats neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive medical and support services, and far-reaching professional and public health education. With national headquarters in Tucson, MDA has more than 200 offices across the country, sponsors more than 200 hospital-affiliated clinics and supports more than 330 research projects around the world
We have been helping children have a Merry Christmas since 1976. In 2008 we serviced 675 families which gave about 1100 kids a good Christmas morning. In 2009 we serviced 646 families!

There is no greater gift than giving!
The purpose of the Firefighters Memorial is to design, construct and maintain a suitable memorial on the State Capitol grounds to honor the firefighters of the State of Arkansas who have have died in the line of duty.
Architect Brooks Jackson of Little Rock was selected to design the memorial. The proposed site for the memorial is to be located on the West Side of the State Capitol, in Little Rock.
