Today Myself and My father went to Greer's Ferry to bass fish. The weather was fine when we got to the lake but as soon as we pulled into the cove it started to sprinkle. Fish were active from the get go! The rain proceeded to get worse and worse. A few times we actually pulled the boat into a vacant slip to get out of the weather. The fishing actually improved even more! Every time the rain would let up a bit, the bass were smacking shad all over, it really reminded me of what white bass do. Throwing Zara spook type baits proved to work best. We probably caught a good 30 ranging from 12" on up to 16". Had a great time with my dad too.
